Duhawks Secure Program’s First IWLCA Academic Awards

For the first time in program history, the Loras College women’s lacrosse team was named as an Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) 2021 Academic Team in addition to Clare Brunn (’22), Kayla Tilkes (’21) and Katlynne Wolf (’21) earning Academic Honor Roll status. To earn team honors, programs must have a 3.2 team GPA or higher for the academic year and junior, senior or graduate student-athletes with a 3.5 GPA or higher are eligible for individual honors.

USTFCCCA Names Women’s Track and Field Scholar Team of the Year

and field team celebrated a program-best 13 student-athletes named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team in addition to the team bringing home the 2021 NCAA Division III Track and Field Scholar Team honor for the second time in program history with a 3.4 team GPA.

Women’s Lacrosse Lands Seven on MWLC All-Academic Team

The Duhawks celebrated a monumental season in 2021, finishing the season with a record of 6-3 and 3-4 in MWLC play and collected seven Player of the Week honors, including three award sweeps, in addition to five All-Conference honorees and the program’s first Player of the Year.

No. 4 Women’s Track and Field Overpowers Competition, Wins A-R-C Title

The Duhawks put a 63.5-point gap on runner-up Wartburg College who scored 184 points, followed by Nebraska Wesleyan University in third with 112 points. The win marked the first time Loras had won the outdoor title since 1999. It is also the first time the women’s staff has been named the conference’s Coaching Staff of the Year.
