50 Years of Coeducation

In the fall of 1971, seventy-five women stepped onto the Loras College campus as full-time students. It marked a seismic shift in both enrollment and outcomes for the College that continue today.

In honor of that moment, we look back on 50 years of coeducation at Loras College by hearing from five women – one from each decade – to reflect on the impact of their Loras experiences.
