“Decision-Making When The Stakes Are High”

Loras College is proud to announce the launch of the Master of Science in Applied Analytics and Graduate Certificate in Applied Analytics, both beginning in Fall 2020. Please join us for an enlightening webinar to learn more about these programs, as well as about how the rapidly growing and changing field of analytics can be applied to every aspect of our lives.

Dr. Dale Lehman, a leading analytics expert and Loras faculty member, will specifically discuss the initial evidence about using the anti-malarial drug Hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19: what statistical evidence was available when its potential effectiveness was being touted and criticized, what were the limitations of that data, and how should we make decisions when so much depends on evidence that we don’t have.
