Duhawk Spotlight | Josh Smith (’22)

Josh Smith (’22)

Major: Business Administration

Hometown: Dolton, Illinois

I am a Resident Advisor, a member of the Black Student Union and a Track & Field team member.

The decision to come to Loras was straightforward. I was able to pursue the major I was looking for and continue competing in athletics. Moving forward, I am looking to pursue a career in the business world with my degree from Loras College.

The thing that stands out the most from my time at Loras is building friendships with my teammates, friends and coaches here on campus. I have made great memories on the track, and I have had the opportunity to see all my teammates succeed in their own ways.

Loras College Forward Thinking will be spotlighting Black students, including Josh, all month on Twitter.
