Loras Choirs to Livestream Spring Concert

The Loras College Choirs will perform their spring concert virtually for all audiences on Friday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m.  The Concert Choir and Chamber Singers will be singing music celebrating spring, hope, and home.

“I’m really impressed by the work the students have put in to make our performance happen this spring,” Jeremiah Cawley, DMA, director of choral and vocal activities, said. “The circumstances have been less than ideal, and the choir members have always brought a positive attitude to rehearsal and real love to their singing.”

The program will include music by J.S. Bach, Herbert Howells, Morten Lauridsen, Stephen Paulus, Sergei Rachmaninov, and Ernst Toch.

“It has been a blessing to sing together during this difficult year. While we’re looking forward to hosting an in-person audience soon, we’re pleased to be able to present our performance through the livestream,” Dr. Cawley said. You can watch the full concert livestream at loras.edu/choirs. The stream starts at 7:15 p.m. with the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m.
