Loras Continues Success at IATS Quiz Bowl

For the fifth time in six years, Loras College Athletic Training Students have won the State of Iowa annual Athletic Training Quiz bowl. With their victory, the team advances to the regional virtual quiz bowl competition at the virtual Mid-American Athletic Trainers Association (MAATA) conference in April.

Loras College MAT students Carson Buck, Charlie Harris, Abby Allgeyer, Maddie Smith, Dayna Hartje and Michelle Budden, made up the victorious team in the Iowa Athletic Training Society (IATS) event.  The Duhawks claimed their victory amidst very hectic clinical education schedules due to the very busy spring athletics schedules.

Loras topped all other Iowa teams, including The University of Iowa, which came in second, and third-place Central College.
