While at Loras, I was in the Breitbach Catholic Thinkers and Leaders Program.

I chose Loras for many different reasons. The closeness to home, the catholic community and the education program were all factors in my decisions. As I walked on campus, I knew that this school was a great fit for what I was looking for.

Looking back on the past four years, I would have never thought I would learn and be challenged so much inside and outside the classroom, as well as in my faith life. Being a student at Loras has pushed me to grow in various aspects of my personal life as well as education. Loras has shown me true community, meeting various types of people and building relationships with staff and faculty members. That is something I did not think I would experience on a college campus.

My best memories at Loras are all the spontaneous events that happen throughout the year. The small last-minute things with friends are the memories that I will never forget.

After graduation, I plan to either head back home to Rockford or find a teaching position somewhere in Wisconsin, where I have family. My ideal position would be teaching middle school mathematics!
